Salesforce certifies first Lightning Component calendar solution for Salesforce Community
Québec City, Canada – MAY 23, 2016 – OSF Commerce, announced today the recent launch of their new Salesforce Lightning Component, OSF Community PLANNER. The cartridge recently passed certification with Salesforce and is available for purchase on Salesforce AppExchange.
OSF Community PLANNER is a scheduling solution for Salesforce Customer and Partner Communities that can be added to the Salesforce Community template with a simple “drag and drop” gesture. The component enables businesses to enhance planning with their customers, partners and employees equip community members with organizational tools, assign activities within the Community and easily track users’ progress.
OSF Community PLANNER is the first and only calendar solution built as a Lightning Component for Salesforce Community. Salesforce recently featured the component on the official Salesforce-Blog, saying the component is “part of our vision to make the greatest array of today’s technology available to our customers with minimal cost and complexity—all made possible by the Salesforce Lightning Platform.”
On May 19, 2016 at Salesforce World Tour in London—an event with over 14,000 people—Adam Wegel, Senior Director, Product Management Community Cloud and Niall Murphy, Business Architect from Salesforce introduced OSF as one of the first great partners to build a lightning component for Community Cloud.
During the breakout session, called “Reimagine Customer Engagement with Community Cloud,” the presenters from Salesforce formally demonstrated OSF Community PLANNER to an audience of an estimated 200 guests.
